The Boys

The weekend of the shower the boys were pretty tuckered out. Mike had to work and so they spent time with our friends and with Bubba while I worked on the shower with Mimi.

Jenna's Shower

Well, one of the highlights of 2009 was that the Dugans welcomed a new member of the family... and in August we celebrated Jenna with a shower in St. Charles. It was a wonderful afternoon of friends and family from near and far.

More summer pictures

One of the best things about living where we do is the proximity to friends old and new. One beautiful day this summer, I brought the boys to Lake Geneva, where my good friend Angela--a Kappa Delta and English major with me at Iowa State, has a place. She brought her boys and we had a great time visiting. It's as if we hadn't missed a day!


Our friends the Hansgens stopped by during their summer tour of the Midwest and we got to spend some time with our favorite little guy, Cole! Ethan loved being bigger than someone for once!


One of the highlights of the move to Park Street was the construction of the boys' very own "tree house". Mimi found out about this house, and Bubba took it apart in Illinois piece by piece, labeled it, drove it to Whitewater, and on a sweltering hot day rebuilt the entire thing by himself. We are so THANKFUL and the boys have played with it incessantly.
